HD For Indies Exclusive: iHome pix are FAKE! We have proof
If you saw these pictures on the web and thought they were of a possible new Mac, they aren't.
While helping a vendor set up their booth tonight at the Moscone Convention Center, I noticed the elgago booth had a product called eyeHome, and it looks just like the photos except for the name (which is of course easily Photoshopped).
Somebody duped somebody.
See the "iHome" pictures here.
See the eyeHome here.
See what I mean?
In the iHome photos, the styrofoam in the box doesn't look like the way Apple packages, and the thin paperfoam over the product isn't a tidy fit. Somebody intentionally duped this up in their cube.

Comments:
I agree that the iHome looks fake, but looking on the elgato site the eyeHome doesn't look all that similar. Where's the optical loading slot? the ports? I don't recall seeing anything like that square indentation/cutout on the iHome pictures.
Are there better pictures on the eyeHome somewhere or is that product linked to not the one you are referring to?
