finalcutpronews: 'Bride' Stripped Bare

Two things: Philafcpug.org is moving to finalcutpronews.com. Secondly, nice article about Corpse Bride:

Technologically, this is a movie of many firsts; it's the first feature-length, stop-motion film edited using Apple Final Cut Pro (FCP), it%u2019s the first feature shot using commercial digital SLR still photography cameras and, perhaps most significantly, it%u2019s the first movie to choose digital cameras over film cameras based.

I was working on a stop-motion animation TV show for the European market using Nikon Digital SLR's, Adobe After Effects & Final Cut Pro all on Macs. It is a lot of time-consuming work, but very interesting how all the elements come together.
