Exclusive Video of entire Offhollywood Red presentation at Tekserve

The guys up at Tekserve shot it, edited it, and compressed it, so I'm hosting it - here's the entire Red presentation Mark Pederson from Offhollywood gave at Tekserve the other week. Click here to open a new window and play the movie.

Only here at HD for Indies!

Thanks for putting this up, Mike, and thanks to everyone at Tekserve for making it. My only real complaint or observation: it's interlaced! And my goodness, the combing on a progressive display makes one that much more appreciative of cameras like the Red!

Also, just wanted to point out something that was pretty funny to me at 1 AM on a sunday morning, that at around 33:40 we've got a couple of people taking snapshots with their iphones, and somebody accidentially hitting the home button instead of snapping a shot.

Maybe they intentionally left nasty field artifacts in the video to subtly make a point about the beauty of progressive capture? :)

Pretty sweet video Mike! Nice :) Great summary of RED.

Someone else was kind enough to capture, edit, and compress this before they left for vacation.

Interlaced? Yes, non-optimal. But I'm not going to sweat'em over it. We can tell what's going on.

And look at all those shiny iPhones everywhere :)
Imagine an iPhone plug-in that lets you control the Red ;)

But seriously: Thanks for posting this, and finding some new information. I always thought the term "modular design" applied only to the casing.
